Night Work on I-93 Between Exit 3 and Exit 4 in Derry/Windham
SOUTHBOUND LANE CLOSURE FOR NIGHT WORK WILL REDUCE SOUTHBOUND TRAFFIC TO ONE LANE.
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces that on the night of April 10 into April 11th, night work will take place, weather permitting, on Interstate 93 southbound from mile marker 7.6 to 8.6, from North Lowell Road bridge overpass to the Exit 3 off ramp.
This work is scheduled to be done during the night between 7:00 pm and 5:00 am on Monday night, April 10th into Tuesday morning, April 11th. The night work will consist of paving the existing southbound low speed shoulder, reducing the southbound barrel to one lane using a lane closure. It will take place during non-commuter hours and motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.
This work is part of the northbound and southbound I-93 mainline widening from the weigh station to Kendall Pond Road between Exit 3 and Exit 4 in Derry/Windham. R.S. Audley, Inc. of Bow, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $49 million project, which is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2019.
