Night Work on I-93 Between Exit 4 and Exit 5 in Derry/Londonderry
NIGHT WORK TO BEGIN AT THE EXIT 4 INTERCHANGE ON I-93 IN LONDONDERRY. The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces that on Tuesday April 11, 2017, night work will begin between Exit 4 and Exit 5 on I-93. The construction will take place on both I-93 northbound and southbound.
Weather permitting, night-time construction operations will take place starting on Tuesday, April 11th until Friday, April 14th from 8:30 PM to 5:30 AM each night. The Contractor will be paving I-93 NB and SB and placing barrier between the highway and work zone. The work will require northbound and southbound lane closures.
This work will require traffic to be reduced to one lane NB and one lane SB utilizing lane closures, and will take place during non-commuter hours, between approximately 8:30 pm and 5:30 am. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.
This work is part of the $35 million I-93 widening and reconstruction project between Exit 4 in Derry and Exit 5 in Londonderry. The general contractor is Weaver Brothers Construction from Bow, NH.
