Night Work on I-93 between Exit 3 and Exit 4 in Windham/Derry
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces night work associated with the construction of Interstate 93 southbound from approximately ½ mile south of the exit 4 interchange to the weigh station in Windham. Weather permitting, nighttime construction operations will take place on Wednesday, May 24th and continue through Thursday morning, May 25th, between approximately 7:00 pm and 4:30 am. This will require traffic on I-93 to be reduced to one lane and will take place during non-commuter hours. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs. The work that will take place during this time will consist of paving and line striping the southbound lanes into a new temporary configuration. This work is part of the $49 million I-93 widening and reconstruction project located between exit 3 in Windham and exit 4 in Derry. The general contractor is R.S. Audley, Inc. from Bow, New Hampshire.
