NIGHT WORK ON I-93 IN THE EXIT 4 AREA IN LONDONDERRY
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces that on Monday, September 25, 2017, night work will take place on I-93 Northbound in the Exit 4 area, between Mile Markers 10.4 and 11.4 in Londonderry. Structural steel will be set for the I-93 Northbound Kendall Pond Road Bridge. This work is scheduled to be done between the hours of 8:00 pm and 6:00 am and will require the use of lane closures to perform work. Message boards and smart work zone devices will be used to notify the travelling public. This work is expected to take one night to complete, however additional nights may be required due to weather conditions. This work is part of the final I-93 NB and SB mainline construction in the Exit 4 area (Derry/Londonderry), as well as the NB and SB on and off ramps reconstruction, the NH Route 102 reconstruction (including the construction of the NH Route 102 Bridge over I-93), and Pillsbury Road/Ash Street (including the Pillsbury Road/Ash Street Bridge over I-93). RS Audley, Inc. of Bow, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $62.2 million project, which is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2020.
