NIGHT WORK ON I-93 BETWEEN EXIT 4 AND EXIT 5 IN DERRY/LONDONDERRY
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces night work associated with the construction of Interstate 93 southbound between Exits 4 and 5 in Londonderry.
Weather permitting, nighttime construction operations will take place on Thursday, December 7th and Friday, December 8th. The work that will take place during this time frame consists of paving and striping of the existing southbound lanes that transition to the newly constructed portions of the interstate.
The paving and striping work will require traffic on southbound I-93 to be reduced to one lane utilizing a lane closure from mile markers 14.5 to 11.5. This work will take place during non-commuter hours between 8:00 pm and 5:00 am. Message boards and smart work zone devices will be used to notify the traveling public.
This work is part of the $35 million I-93 widening and reconstruction project between Exit 4 in Derry and Exit 5 in Londonderry. The general contractor is Weaver Brothers Construction from Bow, NH.
