NIGHT LANE CLOSURE ON I-93 NORTHBOUND IN SALEM NH
Roadway milling operations in preparation for final wearing course

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces night work associated with the construction of the new I-93 Exit 2 Interchange in Salem.

Weather permitting; milling operations on I-93 northbound will take place on the nights of Monday, July 20 through Wednesday, July 22, 2015. This work is in preparation for the final paving on northbound in the exit 2 area.

Construction operations will require traffic on I-93 northbound to be reduced to one lane utilizing a lane closure. This work will take place during non-commuter hours, from approximately 9:00 pm to 6:00 am. Motorist should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

This work is part of the $41 million I-93 widening and reconstruction project in the vicinity of Exit 2. The general contractor is George R. Cairns & Sons, Inc. from Windham, NH.
