BLASTING BEGINNING ON I-93 BETWEEN EXIT 3 AND EXIT 4 IN DERRY/WINDHAM
ROLLING ROADBLOCKS MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY BETWEEN 10 AM AND 2 PM

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces the beginning of blasting operations along Interstate 93 in Derry starting on April 4, 2016 Blasting work will take place during non-commuter hours between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm on Monday through Friday during the 2016 construction season. The blasting is required to construct the new alignment of I-93 northbound and southbound.

Rolling road blocks will be used to slow northbound and southbound traffic on Interstate 93 during blasting operations, resulting in minor delays. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

This work is part of the $49 million I-93 widening and reconstruction project located between Exit 3 and Exit 4. The general contractor is R.S. Audley, Inc. of Bow, New Hampshire.
