I-93 NORTHBOUND LANE CLOSURE

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces night work associated with the construction of Interstate 93 in Windham. Bridge work at North Lowell Rd. will utilize a northbound lane closure between mile markers 8.0 and 8.6.

Weather permitting, construction operations will take place on Thursday night, September 15th, with the installation of new bridge beams over North Lowell Rd. This will require traffic on Interstate 93 to be reduced to one lane utilizing a lane closure. This work will take place during non-commuter hours, from approximately 8:00 pm to 6:00 am. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

This work is part of the $49 million I-93 widening and reconstruction project between exit 3 in Windham and exit 4 in Derry. The general contractor is R.S. Audley, Inc. from Bow, NH.
