NIGHT WORK ON I-93 BETWEEN EXIT 3 AND EXIT 4 IN WINDHAM/DERRY

I-93 NORTHBOUND AND SOUTHBOUND LANE CLOSURES

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces night work associated with the construction of Interstate 93 northbound and southbound from the weigh station in Windham to ½ mile south of the exit 4 interchange.

Weather permitting, nighttime construction operations will take place starting on Wednesday, October 19th and continue through Friday morning, October 20th. The work that will take place during this time frame will consist of paving and line striping the northbound lanes into a new temporary configuration. Work on southbound will consist of paving areas that were damaged during blasting operations.

Construction operations will require traffic on northbound and southbound I-93 to be reduced to one lane utilizing a lane closure. This work will take place during non-commuter hours, from approximately 8:00 pm to 5:00 am. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

This work is part of the $49 million I-93 widening and reconstruction project between exit 3 in Windham and exit 4 in Derry. The general contractor is R.S. Audley, Inc. from Bow, NH.
